In the TYAN Thematic Workshops in Mathematics and Advanced School in Mathematics events renowned mathematicians met to discuss and promote high-level mathematics in different sub areas and topics.
The main objective of this event was to promote new collaborations between young and senior researchers from the region of Latin America and the Caribbean in the field of mathematics.
This event took part in Sao Paulo, organized by TYAN (TWAS Young Affiliates Network), together with the Brazilian Society of Mathematics (SBM), TWAS-LACREP (Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Partner of The World Academy of Sciences) and the Young Academy of Argentina (AJA), and supported by the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) and the Mexican Mathematical Society.
